Motion Academy was founded with a simple yet powerful mission: to empower youth in the Bay Area through the transformative power of education and sports. We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive—academically, physically, and socially—regardless of their background or financial circumstances. This begins with our core programs:

• Thrive in Motion: After-school tutoring in core subjects for grades 1-8, paired with basketball clinics and seasonal tournaments.

• Motion Scholars: Scholarships covering program fees and supporting private school and college opportunities for underserved students.

• Summer in Motion: Inclusive summer camp blending fun, learning, and sports for all children.

 

Through generous donations, grants, and partnerships with local businesses, Motion Scholars helps fund program fees and even supports opportunities for exceptional students and there college endeavors. Expanding on our mission, we introduced Summer in Motion, a vibrant summer camp where kids can make friends, explore new interests, and create lifelong memories. Open to all, this program blends fun, learning, and physical activity, giving children a safe and enriching space during the summer months.
